Finding the Right Vantage Point
I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years — musician, IT professional, car detailer, husband, father, and credit union leader. Each one taught me something different about clarity, collaboration, and purpose. Together, they shaped how I see the world and inspired the creation of Vantage Credit Union Advisors.
The Beginning of Vantage
When I started Vantage, I wanted it to be more than a consulting firm. I wanted to help credit unions step back from the noise and find perspective — to look at decisions not just through spreadsheets or strategic plans, but through the lens of how they impact members.
The word Vantage felt right because it means a position that offers a clear view and a strategic advantage. To me, that’s what strong governance and planning should provide. It’s not about standing above others, it’s about standing where you can clearly see what matters most: your members.
That’s what drives everything we do at Vantage — bringing clarity to complex decisions, aligning boards and executives, and guiding growth that strengthens members and communities.
Designing the Look and Feel
When it came to building the visual identity, I wanted the brand to feel grounded, confident, and purposeful. The logo is clean and modern — a wordmark paired with an upward-moving icon — but every detail carries meaning.

The shape includes subtle nods to both a road and the idea of being driven, a reflection of my lifelong passion for cars and the idea of always moving forward. It also hints at the bridge of a violin, a quiet tribute to my background as a classically trained violinist. Both the road and the bridge represent structure and movement — the balance between precision and creativity that I believe defines great leadership.
The colors tell the rest of the story:
- Navy represents trust and professionalism, the foundation of every client relationship.
- Ivory brings clarity and openness, because transparency builds confidence.
- Gold adds optimism, a reminder that growth should always be purpose-driven and member-focused.
Together, they reflect how I try to lead — with calm confidence and optimism for what’s ahead.

A Brand Rooted in People
Vantage isn’t about consulting to me. It’s about partnership. It’s about helping boards and executives feel confident in their roadmap, clear in their governance, and grounded in their mission.
That belief comes from the same place as my music. Whether I’m performing or planning strategy, I’ve learned that harmony, rhythm, and connection are what make great things happen. It’s not about volume — it’s about alignment.

The View Ahead
Vantage Credit Union Advisors is a reflection of my journey — built through hard work, creativity, family, and the belief that when we lead with purpose, we all rise.
From the garage to the boardroom, from late-night strategy sessions to quiet moments with my family, one truth keeps coming back to me: the right vantage point changes everything.
